ABOUT DAVID KALTENBACH
For many years, David owned and operated a successful graphic arts company, D.K. Design, in LBI.
A veritable "Renaissance Man", David Kaltenbach studied film editing in
New York City, acting in Atlantic City at Weist-Barron-Ryan Acting Workshops, and has a formal education in oceanography. He is also an accomplished watercolor
and graphic artist. |
All of these diverse experiences and talents combined with his love of travel and nature served as a natural transition to filmmaking for David. He began with
the creation and production of a series of documentaries and travelogues featuring his island Fishspan Home, Long Beach Island. The critically acclaimed, whimsical summer
television show, "LBI LIVE" premiered on Long Beach Island in southern
Ocean County, New Jersey in 1994 and enjoyed a successful four-year
run, enthusiastically supported by local sponsors. Since then he has traveled extensively for on-location filming to Barbados, Mexico, Costa Rica and Cornwall,
England.
David's talents then
took on another dimension - the creation of screenplays. In conjunction
with English literature graduate, Lance Henrickson the
liturgical screenplay "Bridge to Nowhere" was written.
This of course led to the production of the independent feature film, "Bridge to Nowhere", now airing successfully in Europe.
Subsequently, Mr. Kaltenbach has produced two more screenplays: "The Two Witnesses" and
"The Assignment". |
